Tribal Health Group, United States Get Stay For Settlement Talks

(September 8, 2016, 11:57 AM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A California federal judge on Aug. 23 stayed for three months a lawsuit filed against the U.S. government by a health services consortium of nine Indian tribes seeking more than $2.4 million for underfunded contract support costs so the parties can conduct settlement talks (Consolidated Tribal Health Project, Inc. v. United States of America, et al., No. 2:16-cv-1546, E.D. Calif.).
