(September 8, 2016, 10:41 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A divided National Labor Relations Board panel on Aug. 24 granted a request by the general counsel to discontinue its practice of treating employee’s search-for-work and interim employment expenses as an offset that reduces the amount of interim earnings deducted from gross back pay and to start calculating and paying those expenses separately from back pay, regardless of whether the employee received interim earnings (King Soopers, Inc. and Wendy Geaslin, No. 27-CA-129598, NLRB)....
