10th Circuit Finds Claims Against Lenders Are Barred By Foreclosure Ruling

(September 6, 2016, 2:05 PM EDT) -- DENVER — After finding that a borrower's claims related to a state court foreclosure case were barred under the doctrine established in Rooker v. Fidelity Trust Co. (263 U.S. 413 [1923]) and District of Columbia Court of Appeals v. Feldman (460 U.S. 462 [1983]), the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Aug. 31 affirmed a district court's dismissal of all of his claims asserted against various lenders (R. Kirk McDonald v. J.P.
