HHS Analysis: Premiums 7 Percent Lower In Medicaid Expansion States

(August 29, 2016, 3:13 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The synergy between the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchanges and Medicaid expansion means that states adopting the latter saw premiums 7 percent lower than states that declined to do so, according to an Aug. 25 analysis by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
