Oklahoma High Court: Couple May Sue Fracking Companies For Earthquake Injuries

Mealey's (July 7, 2015, 8:22 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Supreme Court on June 30 reversed and remanded a lawsuit and ruled that a couple that contends that two hydraulic fracturing companies are liable for injuries allegedly caused by earthquakes that were the result of fracking activity may sue those companies in state court (Ladra v New Dominion LLC, No. 2015 OK 53, Okla. Sup.).
