9th Circuit Orders Response To Mandamus Petition In ‘Zombie’ Cookies Suit
Mealey's (August 25, 2016, 1:52 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — Finding that the petition for a writ of mandamus filed by plaintiffs in a putative class action against the designer of persistent Internet tracking cookies “raises issues that warrant an answer,” a Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Aug. 23 issued an order directing the defendant to respond to the petition (In re: Anthony Henson, et al., No. 16-71818, 9th Cir.).
