Judge: Asbestos Claimants Can Oppose Energy Future Subsidiaries’ Plan

(August 25, 2016, 10:30 AM EDT) -- WILMINGTON, Del. — A bid by Chapter 11 debtor Energy Future Holdings Corp. (EFH) to prevent two asbestos claimants from objecting to a plan of reorganization for certain subsidiaries was rejected Aug. 15 by a Delaware federal bankruptcy judge (In re: Energy Future Holdings Corp., et al., No. 14-10979, D. Del. Bkcy.).
