Judge Approves Plan To Have Reinsurer Make Direct Payments To Insured

(August 18, 2016, 11:20 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania judge on Aug. 11 granted the liquidator of Reliance Insurance Co.’s application to allow a reinsurer to make direct payments to a Reliance policyholder (In re: Reliance Insurance Company in Liquidation, No. 1 REL 2001, Pa. Cmwlth.).
