Facing $430M In Losses, Aetna Abandons 70 Percent Of ACA Exchanges

(August 17, 2016, 8:05 AM EDT) -- HARTFORD, Conn. — Aetna Inc. will cut approximately 70 percent of its Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchange health insurance offerings in 2017, leaving it with offerings in just four states, the company announced Aug. 15.
