(August 15, 2016, 12:32 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A trial court improperly granted a joint compound supplier summary judgment after erroneously concluding that an industrial hygienist lacked sufficient basis for his conclusion that a man would have been exposed to asbestos by the products, a California appeals court held July 27 (Andrea Gerlach, et al. v. Goodman Lumber Co., No. A144642, Calif. App., 1st Dist., Div. 1; 2016 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 5634).
