Judgment For UCL Claims Is Amended In Taco Bell Worker Wage Suit

(August 4, 2016, 8:31 AM EDT) -- FRESNO, Calif. — A California federal magistrate judge on July 15 denied motions for judgment as a matter of law filed by both sides in a wage-and-hour dispute but granted the plaintiffs’ motion to amend the judgment and entered judgment in favor of one of the three classes of workers on their California unfair competition law (UCL) claims (In Re Taco Bell Wage and Hour Actions, No. 07-1314, E.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 92360).
