Delaware Judge Denies Reconsideration, Says Order Was Not Contrary To Law

(July 26, 2016, 12:11 PM EDT) -- WILMINGTON, Del. — A Delaware state judge on July 14 refused to reconsider a state commissioner’s order that insurers do not have to turn over confidential documents that were produced during a settlement and alternative dispute resolution proceeding related to asbestos personal injury claims because the commissioner’s order was not contrary to law (Continental Casualty Co. v. BorgWarner Inc., et al., No. N15M-05-009, Del. Super., New Castle Co.; 2016 Del. Super. LEXIS 344).
