(July 20, 2016, 2:20 PM EDT) -- DENVER — The 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on July 19 affirmed dismissal of a Chinese company's petition to confirm an arbitral award issued in its favor, finding that the other party did not receive sufficient notice of the arbitration in China, rendering the arbitration invalid under the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (CEEG [Shanghai] Solar Science & Technology Co., Ltd., No. 15-1256, 10th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 13192).
