Man Suing Monsanto Says Bifurcating Discovery Would Prejudice Him

Mealey's (July 18, 2016, 9:03 AM EDT) -- SAN DIEGO — The man suing Monsanto Co. in California federal court alleging that he has contracted cancer as a result of exposure to the company’s herbicide that contains glyphosate filed a brief on July 8, arguing that, contrary to Monsanto’s position, proceeding with full discovery will not burden the company, whereas bifurcating discovery would prejudice him (Emanuel Richard Giglio v. Monsanto Company, No. 15-2279, S.D. Calif.).
