Plaintiffs Oppose Motion To Dismiss New Claims In Federal Water Contracts Suit
Mealey's (July 15, 2016, 3:13 PM EDT) -- FRESNO, Calif. — Plaintiffs in a federal water contracts lawsuit on July 12 opposed a motion to dismiss five of their claims, saying that the defendants cited invalid legal theories, that factual disputes must be resolved in their favor and that the defendants rely on arguments already rejected by a federal appeals court (Natural Resources Defense Council, et al. v. S.M.R. Jewell, et al., No. 05-1207, E.D. Calif.).
