Home Health Care Provider To Pay $3.3M To Settle False Claims Act Suit

(July 14, 2016, 10:26 AM EDT) -- LOUISVILLE, Ky. — MD2U Holding Co., its related companies and its owners on July 7 filed an agreement in Kentucky federal court wherein they agree to pay $3.3 million to resolve allegations brought by the federal government accusing them of violating the False Claims Act (FCA) by submitting fraudulent bills to Medicare and other government health care programs and altering records to support those false claims (United States of America v. MD2U Holding Company, et al., No. 16-cv-440-GNS, E.D. Ky.)....
