(July 13, 2016, 10:38 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — Defendants in a securities class action lawsuit have failed to show that a stay of the proceedings is necessary pending an appeal of a New York federal judge’s ruling granting the lead plaintiffs’ motion for class certification, the judge ruled July 5 (Barbara Strougo v. Barclays plc, et al., No. 14-5797, S.D. N.Y.).
