2nd Circuit Affirms That 16 Mirena Claims Are Time- Barred By California Law

(July 11, 2016, 3:27 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — The Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on July 1 affirmed the dismissal of Mirena intrauterine device (IUD) claims by 16 plaintiffs, which a multidistrict litigation court found missed California’s two-year statute of limitations (Brittany Medinger, et al. v. Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Incorporated, et al., No. 15-355, et al., 2nd Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 12116).
