Defendants Say Meningitis Outbreak Should Play No Role In Their Fraud Trial

(July 11, 2016, 10:26 AM EDT) -- BOSTON — Two principals in the compounding pharmacy at the center of a fungal meningitis outbreak on July 21 opposed federal prosecutors’ attempts to introduce evidence of the outbreak into their fraudulent money transfer trial (United States of America v. Carla R. Conigliaro, et al., No. 14-cr-10363, D. Mass.).
