Judge Denies Summary Judgment Motions In Insurance Bad Faith Dispute
(July 8, 2016, 1:11 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A federal judge in Pennsylvania on June 24 denied a pair of summary judgment motions in an insurance breach of contract and bad faith lawsuit, ruling that genuine issues of material fact exist as to whether an insurer had a duty to defend its insured in a pair of underlying lawsuits (Brian E. Singer v. Continental Casualty Co., No. 16-1138, E.D. Pa.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 82286).
