New Hampshire Federal Judge Says Denial Of Long-Term Claim Is Questionable

(July 8, 2016, 11:01 AM EDT) -- CONCORD, N.H. — A New Hampshire federal judge on June 29 determined that remanding a long-term disability benefits claim is the only appropriate remedy because it is not clear if the claimant is entitled to benefits and because the disability insurer’s denial was questionable (Elizabeth Senechal v. Aetna Life Insurance Co., No. 14-186, D. N.H.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 84618).
