(July 7, 2016, 11:04 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A ruling that the Navajo Nation tribal courts lack jurisdiction to hear a wrongful death action arising from a fatal crash on a state highway on the tribe’s reservation in Arizona will stand after the U.S. Supreme Court on June 28 declined to review the case (Jamien Rae Jensen, et al. v. EXC Inc., et al., No. 15-64, U.S. Sup.).
