Insurers File Motion To Reconsider, Argue Deductible Also Applies To Defense Costs
(June 30, 2016, 10:09 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — Insurers involved in an environmental contamination coverage dispute argue in a June 23 motion to reconsider that a California federal judge overlooked the express terms of an environmental impairment liability policy in ruling that the policy deductible applies only to indemnity costs and not to defense costs (American Guarantee and Liability Insurance Co., et al. v. Technichem Inc., et al., No. 15-03611, N.D. Calif.).
