(June 28, 2016, 7:54 PM EDT) -- ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A patent claiming a hydrophilic material positioned on hydrophobic material, which together wick moisture away from the skin, is likely invalid pursuant to 35 U.S. Code Section 103, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruled June 16 in granting a petition for inter partes review (IPR) by Nike Inc.
