California Appeals Court Won’t Disturb Groundwater Quiet Title Determination
(June 27, 2016, 2:36 PM EDT) -- SAN JOSE, Calif. — A California appeals panel on June 24 affirmed a trial court’s quiet title for groundwater rights and the court’s decision that the plaintiffs were not the prevailing party for purposes of attorney fees (City of Santa Maria, et al. v. Richard E. Adam, et al., Nos. H041133, HO41891, Calif. App., 6th Dist.; 2016 Cal. App. LEXIS 508).
