Florida-Georgia High Court Groundwater Case Set For Trial Oct. 31

(June 27, 2016, 9:52 AM EDT) -- PORTLAND, Maine — A U.S. Supreme Court special master on June 20 said he will conduct a trial on Oct. 31 on Florida’s claims that Georgia is overdrafting groundwater in a river basin (State of Florida v. State of Georgia, No. 142, Original, U.S. Sup.).

Special Master Ralph I. Lancaster Jr. of Pierce Atwood in Portland, Maine, said the trial will take place at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C.
