Homeowners, State Farm Dispute Who Started Legal Action, Is Due Attorney Fees

(June 24, 2016, 2:38 PM EDT) -- MIAMI — Two homeowners have asked the Third District Florida Court of Appeal to reverse a trial court’s denial of attorney fees for their court action to collect on a four-year-old, $240,476 insurance claim filed with State Farm Florida Insurance Co. (Gennivieve Henriques, et al. v. State Farm Florida Insurance Company, No. 3D 15-2137, Fla. App., 3rd Dist.).
