Law Firm’s Appeal Of Liability Ruling Improper, Insurance Broker Says
(June 22, 2016, 8:49 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — An appeal by a law firm for an asbestosis victim seeking to hold the longtime insurance broker for Johns-Manville Corp. liable for his injuries should be dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction because the ruling appealed is not a final order, the broker argues in a June 9 motion in the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (The Bogdan Law Firm v. Marsh USA, Inc., et al., No. 16-1153, 2nd Cir.).
(Motion to dismiss available. Document #48-160624-007M.)
