New York Appellate Panel Reverses Order In Medical Malpractice Suit
(June 21, 2016, 10:38 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York appellate panel on June 15 reversed a lower court order denying summary judgment for a radiologist and an on-call neurosurgeon because the plaintiff in the case failed to show that the pair strayed from protocol when determining if she needed spinal surgery (Kathleen Meade et al. v. J. Marc Yland et al., No.4548/09. N.Y. Sup., App. Div., 2nd Dept.; 2016 N.Y. App. Div. LEXIS 4535).
