United States Dismisses Drug Delivery Charges Against FedEx During Bench Trial

(June 20, 2016, 1:39 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A criminal trial against FedEx Corp. for allegedly conspiring to deliver controlled substances from illegal Internet pharmacies was dismissed June 17 by the federal government five days into a bench trial (United States of America v. FedEx Corporation, et al., No. 14-cr-380, N.D. Calif.).

In a brief order, U.S. Judge Charles R. Breyer of the Northern District of California said that the United States moved to dismiss the charges.
