9th Circuit: Company Was Not Party To Military Contracts With United States

(June 20, 2016, 9:52 AM EDT) -- PASADENA, Calif. — After finding that a supplier of materials failed to show that it was a beneficiary of contracts between Lockheed Martin Corp. and the U.S. government and that its claim for violation of California's unfair competition law (UCL) failed, the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on June 8 affirmed dismissal of the case for failure to state a claim (Caltex Plastics Inc. v. Lockheed Martin Corp., No. 14-55768, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 10360).
