Parties Seek Determination Whether Investors Pleaded Misrepresentations

(June 17, 2016, 12:45 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — Parties in a securities class action lawsuit against certain officers of a bankrupt oil drilling and exploration company recently asked the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to determine whether a federal judge erred in dismissing the lead plaintiffs’ amended complaint for failure to plead any material misrepresentations (Firefighters Pension & Relief Fund of the City of New Orleans v. T. Paul Bulmahn, No. 15-31094, 5th Cir.).
