Judge: Investors Pleaded Misrepresentation, Scienter In Securities Suit
(June 16, 2016, 7:51 AM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — Dismissal of a securities class action lawsuit is not proper because shareholders properly pleaded a material misrepresentation and scienter in making their federal securities law claims against a Canadian precious metals streaming company and certain of its current and former officers and directors, a federal judge in California ruled June 6 (In re Silver Wheaton Corp. Securities Litigation, No. 15-5146, C.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 74162).
