California Federal Judge Denies Costco’s Dismissal Motion In Coconut Oil Suit

(June 15, 2016, 3:05 PM EDT) -- SANTA ANA, Calif. — A California federal judge on June 6 denied a motion by a warehouse chain to dismiss and/or strike portions of a class complaint alleging deceptive labeling on the chain’s coconut oil (James Boswell, et al. v. Costco Wholesale Corporation, No. 16-278, C.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 73926).
