9th Circuit Reverses Dismissal Of Claims Related To 7-Eleven Labels

(June 14, 2016, 3:59 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on June 7 found that a district court prematurely dismissed consumers’ claims for violation of California's unfair competition law (UCL) and other claims in relation to a convenience store's product labeling (Scott Bishop individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated v. 7-Eleven Inc., No. 14-15986, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 10284).
