Owner Of Cigar Company Files Suit Against FDA Over New Regulations
(June 13, 2016, 3:00 PM EDT) -- MIAMI — The owner of a cigar company in Miami on June 1 filed suit against the Food and Drug Administration in Florida federal court, claiming that the agency’s new rule regulating tobacco and tobacco products violates several federal acts and will make it difficult for the company to do business (Enrique Fernando Sanchez Icaza and Global Premium Cigars LLC v. Food and Drug Administration et al., No. 1:16-cv-21967, S.D. Fla.).
