Washington Top Court Stays Case While Considering Wrongful Death Claim Viability

(June 13, 2016, 12:40 PM EDT) -- SEATTLE — The Washington Supreme Court on May 31 stayed an asbestos action while it considers whether the expiration of a personal injury claim bars a subsequently filed wrongful death action, according to the docket (Geraldine Barabin, et al. v. AstenJohnson Inc., et al., No. 72626-9-1, Wash. Sup.).
