Fracking Leaseholders: Class Arbitration Of Royalty Dispute Permitted

(June 13, 2016, 10:16 AM EDT) -- CLEVELAND — A group of leaseholders on June 2 filed a brief in Ohio federal court, arguing that their case against a hydraulic fracturing company with which they have contracts for royalty payments should be permitted to proceed to class arbitration (Chesapeake Exploration LLC v. Dale H. Henceroth, et al., No.16-150, N.D. Ohio).
