5th Circuit Denies Yogurt Store Franchisees’ Petition For Rehearing

(June 10, 2016, 3:14 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — A Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on May 17 denied a petition for panel rehearing of a decision affirming partial summary judgment to yogurt store franchisor Yumilicious Franchise L.L.C. and upholding the dismissal of breach of contract and fraud claims of franchisees who say they were forced out of business by contract breaches (Yumilicious Franchise, L.L.C. v. Matthew Barrie, et al., No. 15-10508, 5th Cir.).
