Pennsylvania House Committee To Consider Severance Tax On Fracked Natural Gas

(June 10, 2016, 2:30 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania House of Representatives on May 25 voted to send to the House Committee on Environmental Resources & Energy a measure that would enact a severance tax on the value of wet and dry natural gas and allow extraction companies to deduct the current Marcellus impact fee liability from the severance tax due.
