Termination Of Benefits Not Supported By Evidence, Connecticut Federal Judge Says
(June 10, 2016, 10:00 AM EDT) -- BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Because the termination of long-term disability benefits was not supported by substantial evidence, a Connecticut federal judge on May 13 remanded the claim to the plan administrator to complete a full evaluation of the claimant’s ability to return to work (Nancy Mirto v. Aetna Life Insurance Co., et al., No. 14-1640, D. Conn.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 63359).
