Minnesota Federal Court Urged To Dismiss Farmers’ Clean Water Rule Challenge
(June 8, 2016, 11:28 AM EDT) -- MINNEAPOLIS — The United States on May 18 told a Minnesota federal court that it should dismiss a Clean Water Act challenge by 11 agricultural plaintiffs because the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has already ruled that it has exclusive jurisdiction over such challenges (Washington Cattlemen’s Association, et al. v. United States Environmental Protection Agency, et al., No. 15-3058, D. Minn.).
