California Appellate Panel Reverses Verdict In Bar Stabbing Suit
(June 6, 2016, 8:32 AM EDT) -- RIVERVIEW, Calif. — An appellate panel in California on May 20 remanded and reversed the verdict in a negligence suit brought after a man was stabbed on a bar owner’s property for further proceedings after finding that the trial court erred by allowing the jury to use a “fatally defective” verdict sheet (Marco De Leon v. Jesus De Dios, et al., No. G051995, Calif. App., 4th Dist.; 2016 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 3764).
