Judge: Couple Fails To Show Tainted Groundwater Case Belongs In District Court
(June 6, 2016, 7:48 AM EDT) -- LAS VEGAS — A federal judge in Nevada on May 16 ruled that a couple alleging that an electric utility company contaminated the groundwater beneath their home failed to show that the district court has jurisdiction over the case (Juliana Martinez, et al. v. Pacific Gas & Electric Company, No. 16-00594, D. Nev.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 64853).
