Federal Judge Denies Motion For Partial Summary Judgment In Shooting Suit
(June 3, 2016, 2:26 PM EDT) -- GULFPORT, Miss. — A federal judge in Mississippi on June 1 denied a motion for partial summary judgment filed by the holding company of an apartment complex in a premises liability suit because a genuine issue of material fact exists as to whether a man who was shot lived in the apartment complex (Mark Laird v. Sunbelt Management Co. and Woodbriar Associates LTD., No. 2:15-cv-67-DPJ-FKB, S.D. Miss.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 71361).
