Maryland Court Rejects Pfizer As Apparent Manufacturer Of Quigley’s Insulation

(June 3, 2016, 2:15 PM EDT) -- BALTIMORE — Pfizer Inc. cannot be held liable as the apparent manufacturer of a subsidiary’s asbestos-containing insulation, regardless of the test applied, a Maryland appeals court held May 31 (Harriette Stein, personal representative of the estate of Carl Stein, et al. v. Pfizer Inc., No. 1231, Md. Sp. App.).
