Pennsylvania Judge Vacates Fracking Company’s Permit, Says Evidence Lacking

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 3:44 PM EDT) -- WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A Pennsylvania state judge on Aug. 29, 2014, vacated a ruling by a board of township supervisors that had granted a hydraulic fracturing company permission to build a well pad on a site in Lycoming County, Pa., concluding that the board’s decision was not supported by evidence (Brian Gorsline, et al. v. Board of Supervisors of Fairfield Township v. Inflection Energy LLC, et al., No. 14-000130, Pa. Comm. Pls., Lycoming Co.).
