Shingle Maker Says Plaintiffs’ Proposed Trial Plan Requires Individualized Proof

(June 2, 2016, 11:41 AM EDT) -- ATLANTA — Atlas Roofing Corp. says in a June 1 sur-reply brief filed in Georgia federal court that the plaintiffs’ proposed trial plan is flawed because proof of liability as to whether its shingles are defective requires causation evidence that is specific to each class member’s claims (In re: Atlas Roofing Corporation Chalet Shingle Products Liability Litigation, MLD 2495, Case No. 13-md-2495-TWT, N.D. Ga.).
