Meningitis Outbreak Defendants Seek Trial Continuance, Citing Late Email Production
(June 1, 2016, 12:52 PM EDT) -- BOSTON — Two compounding pharmacy defendants charged with murder in the fungal meningitis outbreak on May 25 asked a Massachusetts federal court to continue their trial for at least four months because they say the government dumped 2.2 million pages of emails on them 12 days before a production deadline (United States of America v. Barry J. Cadden, et al., No. 14-cr-10363, D. Mass.).
