California, Washington Sue Over ‘Deceptive’ Ethicon Pelvic Mesh Marketing
(June 1, 2016, 11:08 AM EDT) -- California and the State of Washington on May 24 filed consumer trade practice complaints in their respective state courts alleging that Johnson & Johnson and subsidiary Ethicon violated state laws in their allegedly deceptive marketing of pelvic mesh devices (The People of the State of California v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. 37-2016-00017229-CU-MC-CTL, Calif. Super., San Diego Co., State of Washington v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. n/a, Wash. Super., King Co.).
